Katy Tabb (she/her) is a choreographer, director, performer, and teaching artist in Seattle. Locally, her choreography has been presented at The 5th Ave. Theatre, Village Theatre, Taproot Theatre Co., Showtunes Theatre Co., Cornish College of the Arts, Seattle Symphony, and The Triple Door; and recently at Olney Theatre Center in Washington, DC. She is a proud recipient of the Gregory Award for Best Choreography for Newsies, which she choreographed at Village Theatre.

As a performer, Katy has been featured onstage at The 5th Ave. Theatre, Olney Theatre Center, Musical Theatre West, 3D Theatricals, and Village Theatre, as well as other notable stages across the US. She has toured internationally with The Honey Taps and Vox Dance Theatre. Katy is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association and the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society.

Katy trained at WDC as a scholarship student beginning at age 16 and is thrilled to be back here in her dance home. She went on to graduate with a BA in Dance from Chapman University and received additional training at The Ailey School. She is passionate about exploring rich storytelling through movement with her students and inspiring each individual to unlock their potential.
